Ros Taylor, author of Willpower: Discover It, Use It and Get What You Want, has received a glowing review from Neil Archibald, journalist at HR Network magazine.
Describing the content, Archibald writes: “It’s a book for everyone whether using your willpower in the workplace to overcome a particularly thorny issue needing a sustained but possibly energy sapping focus, as a student trying to get that last dissertation churned out against an immovable deadline or as a parent intent on not giving in to your child who appears to have more willpower than you when it comes to him or her not having that bath!.”
He adds: “It’s not often a business book gets you turning the pages but this one achieves it in a number of ways. It investigates the fairly deep subject of the origins of willpower which apparently can emanate from the way we’re parented as well as influencing whether we’re prone to adopting a flight or fight mode.”
